  • Do not go beyond safe limits of caffeine (200 mg) in any form in a day time. Caffeine improves the risk of losing the unborn baby and low birth weight. Stay away from it entirely or limit yourself to a safe 200 mg a day.
  • Do not smoke as it impacts the growth and growth of the fetus.
  • Do not try to lose your body weight while in pregnancy. Dieting should generally be done on the judgment stage when a woman is obese. Losing weight during maternity can affect your developing child by burning you of all the needed nutrients and causing in low birth weight and inadequacies in the infant. Suitable amount of weight gain is a normal incident in pregnancy.
